“Garcia” Bear – Beanie Baby produced by Ty – Rare 1993 PVC with Hang and Tush Tag Errors. I remember purchasing this bear, not being a fan of Jerry Garcia, but thought the multi-colored tie-dye design was very cool. He sat on a display shelf, as a retro decor piece, in my living room for maybe a year (hence the tag bend). There are both Hang and Tag Errors, which make this unique little guy a rare collectible. Hang Tag Errors Include. The comma is missing after the Oakbrook on the left side. UK is missing after the P08 8HH zip code. The date of birth are numbers vs the traditionally spelled out dates. The poem says “use to” vs “used to” which is what it was changed to in later versions. Date is 1993 vs the Hang Tag’s date of 1995. Whether a collector or like me, just think he’s cool, make his 2nd home yours.
