Brand new in box sealed and never opened. Window on the back of box is the way errors have been verified. Error 1: 1993 printed in the tag of the bear. Error 2: Oakbrook (no space) also printed on the bears tag. Only the plastic on the packaging has yellow discoloration, the bear inside is still perfectly white and has never been outside of the package.

Ty beanie baby “Maple the bear” errors. Maple the Bear (rare) retired Teenie Beanie Baby with TAG ERRORS and date errors. Tush tag errors – the box states that his birthday is July 1st 1996 but his tag says “1993” and he was made in Oak Brook, Illinois, but his tag reads “OakBrook” (without the space). Maple was introduced January 1, 1997, but the box indicates that he was introduced February 27, 1997. This is the only Maple bear retailed in the United States. He was exclusively a Ronald McDonald House Charity bear. He belongs to 1 of 4 of the International Bears of 1996. He is 1 in 4,000 manufactured!! He has never been played with or taken out of his box. There are two small flaps on the back of the box; I opened one strictly to take the photo of the tush tag. There’s some yellowing. The box and Maple are both in brand new condition. Maple has never been taken out of the box.
