RETIRED Authentic 1992 Gilbert Beanie Baby Attic Treasures MINT With RARE ERRORS Museum Quality Serious Collectors. Pet free and smoke free. Bought by a serious collector in 1992 and stored since then in a display case until this photo shoot. All tags are intact and in mint condition. Has no stamp on tag meaning not mass produced. It was actually handmade in China. Wears a red ribbon. 1st generation hang tag identified by the fact that it does not open like a book, making it more valuable than others. The heart shaped ty tag is located on Gilbert’s left ear and says the following. The Attic Treasures Collection. Gilbert tm style 6006. Remove this tag before giving. Toy to a child. For ages 5 and up. The 2 sided tush tag says the following on the front. FOR AGES 3 AND UP. The 2 sided tush tag says the following on the back. Has the following tag errors that make this bear more rare and exceptionally valuable. The front of the heart shaped tag has a misprint- the gold outline of the ty letters is off registration, so there is red background between the white letters and gold outline. Normally it would be perfectly aligned, and the letters would be outlined by gold without space between the outline and white fill of the letters. The heart tag and tush tag recommended ages are not the same (heart says 5 and tush says 3). The front of the tush tag has a misprinted “H” in the word WASHABLE. There is a period underneath the tm stamp on the back of the heart shaped tag. Heart tag: The word “Wash” has a capital W when it should be a lower case w.
