Hi, I have this very rare Puffer ty beanie baby with tag errors. This could quite possibly be one of a kind. As you can see in the photos there are a couple inside the tag which are circled, those being spaces between words and either a? Those above are still rare but not as rare as this next error. Will include a swing tag plastic cover. Hope is a Retired, Limited Edition Beanie. Swing tag includes a star. 1998 Birthdate on the Swing tag 1999 on the Tush tag. No Stamp on inside of Tush tag which means that this Beanie was handmade and not mass produced 1st Edition. VERY RARE misspelling of “Gosport” which should be “Gasport”. Package Is In Excellent Condition; Stored Away Inside A Box. Pet & Smoke Free. The Beanie Baby you see in the photos is the Beanie Baby you will receive. Britannia was born December 15, 1997 and introduced on December 31,1997. The poem on the back of the package reads. Britannia the Bear will sail the sea. So she can be with you and me. Shes always sure to catch the tide. And wear the Union Flag with pride. Britannia The Bear is a rare retired Teenie Beanie Baby with 2 TAG ERRORS! She was exclusively a Ronald McDonald House Charity bear. She belongs to 1 of 4 of the International Bears collection from 1996/ 1997. She is 1 in 4,000 manufactured! Tush tag errors the box states that her birthday is December 15, 1997 but her tush tag says 1993 and registered in Oak Brook, Illinois (where Ty, Inc headquarters is located) but the tag reads Oakbrook (without the space). Never been played with or taken out of the box. There are 2 small flaps on the back of the box I opened one strictly to take the photo of the tush tag. The edges of the box are in great condition being (20+ years old) but package is in otherwise excellent, near mint condition considering. Britannia The Bear herself is in absolute MINT. McDonalds joined the Beanie Baby hype when it began including scaled-down versions of the toys in its Happy Meals in the 1990s. Collectors helped make Teenie Babies one of the chains most popular Happy Meal promotions in history up to that point. Most of the toys are worth nothing today. One exception is the International Bears collection. The McDonalds-exclusive line of Teenie Beanie Babies included four bears representing four different countries. Britannia from Britain, Maple from Canada, Erin from Ireland, and Glory from the U. The Most Valuable is Britannia Bear in its original packaging.
