This Retired 1996 1st ever Production Christmas bear with 4 Gen tag. 1997 Teddy TY Beanie Baby collectable with its signature red scarf and Christmas stocking cap. 1997 Teddy TY Beanie Baby Condition: NMWT New/ Excellent / mint condition/ TY Heart Tag Status: Rare and Retired MAJOR production Errors: Numerical Birthdate to many spaces. Heart Tag Note: Extra space between BIRTH and “:” In the poem: the there is a dash between Love and inside. Birthdate is 12 – 25 – 96 and tush tag says manufactured in 1996 but it’s the very first Christmas bear, 1997 Teddy for the next year. The correct spelling is Oak Brook, IL. It’s important to note that “Oak” and “Brook” are two separate words. No comma After Oakbrook IL Tush Tag Note: Circled”R” (®) / “TM” / red star – Left side of hang tag reads Fareham, Hants PO15 5TX no comma, No UK, which indicates Error. This lot includes 92 rare and retired Beanie Babies, perfect for collectors and fans of the iconic toy brand. These plush animals are made by Ty and feature the beloved Beanie Babies characters. Includes the must haves, Princess Diana Memorabilia Bear, White Valentino, Halo and Large Erin. Also a mix of the McDonald ones such as Maple, Britannia, Steg, Peanut and Chilly. A few lesser valued do not have their ear tags. These were never played with but weren’t packaged as they should have been so has left them in not “Mint” condition. This is a great collection for the beginner collector, ones looking for missing ones to complete your collections.
