Eggbert with rare Gasport error. On the left inside of the swing tag the factory accidentally wrote Gasport instead of Gosport. The “a” and the “o” look so close that a few made it past inspection. This is a genuine TY gasport error beanie in mint condition with mint tag. Of these when we sorted and examined each, we found 12 Gasport Errors and 8 Suface Wash/Origiinal Errors, 1 with Suface sticker correction. We decided to sell these separately as they are much more valuable than wed prefer to charge for our baskets based on content costs. We pulled out around 140 that we considered not to be in mint condition with mint tags and donated them to CHKD. The items you receive are the best quality we could obtain and are as close to brand new factory perfect you can get for a roughly 20 year old item. You can expect to receive quality based on the method we used described below to separate the beanies. We judged the quality of the beanies we kept to sell on the following. Must be 100% odor free and not stored with dangerous chemicals such as is in mothballs. Must not have stickers on the swing tags on either side. Must not have any writing on the swing or tush tag. Both swing and tush tag must be attached intact and free of any discoloration. Swing tag must not have visible creasing. Fur must be fresh and not crumpled from improper storage. Any hair, bows, hats, scarves or other accessories attached to the beanie must not have frayed yarn or anything to suggest it was played with. The beanie itself must not have any defects such as any cuts or scrapes on the fur, materials not lining up properly to form the color intended, or any parts being sewed on wrong or missing. However, we dont think youll find them in much better condition based on how many sellers we worked with and what they had available and the amount we donated because we wanted the best of the best.
