This beautiful bear was introduced in October of 1997 after Princess Diana’s tragic and sudden death two months earlier. It was retired in April of 1999. Its purple plush fabric symbolizes royalty and is embroidered with the signature Princess Diana white rose and light green stem. The signature purple ribbon adorns its neck. This special bear has had only one owner, and has been carefully kept and preserved in its clear plastic box so not exposed to heat, dust, cold or humidity.
