Date Discrepancy : Packaging states the bear’s birthday as December 15, 1997, but the bear’s tag lists 1993. McDonald’s Logo : The logo at the bottom reads “1999, ” three years later than the product’s release date. Spelling Error : The base incorrectly spells “Oak Brook” as OakBroak. Only a limited number of these bears were produced with these unique misprints, making it a valuable addition to any collection. This price accurately reflects the bear’s rarity and value; however, I’m open to reasonable negotiations if you’d like to discuss.

Britannia The Bear Ty Beanie Baby 1997 McDonalds with RARE Errors 1993 Oak Brook. LOT OF 2! Rare McDonalds Ty Beanie Baby W/Rare Errors (1993 & OakBrook). BOTH BEANIE BABIES ARE RARE WITH TWO ERRORS. These items are in new condition with all corners sealed. Cardboard is in good condition. One item has the cardboard curved but is in otherwise good condition. Bears have not been touched and the back has only been slightly opened to show the rare misprints on the tags. As pictured, the backs of the cardboards have been written on. Small names were written on the top of the house. Bundle 1999 McDonalds international series. Rare misprints on the item. Date born is Feb. 27,1997, but plush tag has 1993 printed (see pictures for more details). Oak Brook is misspelled on the plush tag as “Oakbrook” all in one word. There were only 4000 of these items that were misprinted and that makes it a rare find. Even more rare to have two at once!

Britannia was born December 15, 1997 and introduced on December 31,1997. The poem on the back of the package reads. Britannia the Bear will sail the sea. So she can be with you and me. She’s always sure to catch the tide. And wear the Union Flag with pride. Britannia The Bear is a rare retired Teenie Beanie Baby with 2 TAG ERRORS! She was exclusively a Ronald McDonald House Charity bear. She belongs to 1 of 4 of the International Bears collection from 1996/ 1997. She is 1 in 4,000 manufactured! Tush tag errors – the box states that her birthday is December 15, 1997 but her tush tag says 1993 and registered in Oak Brook, Illinois (where Ty, Inc headquarters is located) but the tag reads Oakbrook (without the space). Never been played with or taken out of the box. There are 2 small flaps on the back of the box I opened strictly to take the photo of the tush tag. (Just enough to read it as shown) Blister is Very good condition being (20+ years old), has some minor wear as shown. Card shows minimal slightly visible wear package is in otherwise excellent condition considering. Britannia The Bear herself is in absolute MINT.
