This is a complete set of 4 1999 McDonald’s Ty Teenie Beanie Babies International Bears, each featuring the rare and highly collectible 1993 Ty Inc. Tag error instead of the correct 1999 date. Glory the Bear (USA). Maple the Bear (Canada). Erin the Bear (Ireland). Britannia the Bear (United Kingdom). All four are in their original sealed packaging from 1999 McDonald’s Happy Meals. Packaging is in very good condition, with minor wear consistent with age. Only Maple was opened slightly to view tush tag and photo the error. Other errors are not confirmed, but bears were collected from same place at same time in San Diego when they were released. ? TAG ERROR DETAILS. At least one bear (Maple) has the original heart-shaped Ty tag that reads 1993 Ty Inc. A known and documented production error on some 1999 editions. This tag misprint is a collector’s favorite and can significantly increase the value of the set. Items are sealed and unplayed with. Maple’s seal was broken to verify tag. Stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home. Packaging may show light shelf wear; see photos for exact condition. Date of Birth: Summer 1996. Rare McDonald Beanie Baby in original box. Tush Tag says 1999 but date of birth of 1996. Oak Brook is spelled with out space in tush tag (Oakbrook) the actual packaging does have some conditional issues but the Bear itself is brand new sealed. It also has the brown nose with the two black eyes. This Beanie Baby is in new Condition. This is a Unique Opportunity to own such a Rare piece of Beanie Baby Collection. I opened one to see if it was the RARE “OAKBROOK”, tag error. All bears are in Brand new Condition.
