RARE! McDonalds 1997 Beanie Babies Glory ERRORS 1993 Retired Bear Misprint baby
TY Beanie Baby / Babies. (See my other listings for set of all 4 – send offers). Part of the Ronald McDonald House Charity Bears, this Rare TY Bear was 1 of 4 and had multiple misprint errors, which makes him a limited piece of collectible history! This is an original authentic Teenie Beanie Baby Bear. Error #1 : Oakbrook / Oak Brook spelling error. This space seems very miniscule, but in fact a huge factor when considering the limited amount of these bears in existence! Error #2 : Birth date misprint. On the back on casing, it clearly states that the bear’s birthdate is “July 4, 1997″ and was introduced ” May 30, 1998″. However, looking closely at the tush tag, it says 1993 TY Inc. There are slight bends in the plastic and cardboard over the time spent in storage, but Glory remains unopened, sealed in original box. I have the entire set of 4 – all with misprints. Rare Retired Ty 1997 Beanie Baby RAINBOW Chameleon, First edition of Rainbow with no tongue, Wrong IGGY Hang Tag and tush tag , Mint with Mint Tag , Original, PVC pellets, 5 th generation swing tag and 5th version tush tag. Please see below for details. I price my beanie babies fairly! Condition: Mint with Mint Tag; Wrong hang tag and tush tag though which increases value. Had been in storage for the last 25 years. Original owner; non-smoking home. Vintage: 1997 birthday; PVC pellets (before 1998) and no stamp inside (not mass produced). It was only made between December 1997 to June 1998 before the tags were switched back to Rainbow. Swing tag: 5th generation tag (early 1997 to Late 1999). Tush tag: version 5.
