Peace the Bear Beanie Baby was introduced in 1997 and retired in 1999 at the height of the Beanie Baby collector craze. The Peace Bear replaced Garcia the Bear. The original tie-dyed bears come in two shades but no two are exactly the same. The bears feature a peace symbol embellished on its chest. This was the first Beanie Baby with an embroidered emblem. Before it was retired, this Beanie Baby was given out as a promotion during an Oakland A’s/Boston Red Sox baseball game. TY Peace Beanie Babies bear, Original, 1st Edition, 1996 – Style 4053.
