Don’t miss out on this rare and handsome bear. Maple was born July 1, 1996. His poem reads:Maple the bear likes to ski, With his friends, he plays hockey. He loves his pancakes and eats every crumbCan you guess what country he’s from? This white bear has black button eyes and a brown nose, and proudly wears a Canadian flag sewn on his chest. Maple the Bear (rare) retired Teenie Beanie Baby with TAG ERRORS and date errors. Tush tag errors – the box states that his birthday is July 1st 1996 but his tag says 1993 and he was made in Oak Brook, Illinois, but his tag reads OakBrook (without the space). Maple was introduced January 1, 1997, but the box indicates that he was introduced February 27, 1997. This is the only Maple bear retailed in the United States. He was exclusively a Ronald McDonald House Charity bear. He belongs to 1 of 4 of the International Bears of 1996. He is 1 in 4,000 manufactured!! He has never been played with or taken out of his box. There are two small flaps on the back of the box; I opened one strictly to take the photo of the tush tag. The edges of the box have some wear and the plastic is slightly dented on front due to age (21 years old) but Maple himself is in MINT condition, This is a Teenie Original Beanie. Hi, thank you for taking the time to read my listing. We used to take road trips and stop along the way at various stores, such as Hallmark, looking for Beanie Babies to add to our collection. All of the Beanie Babies have been stored neatly in a storage bin for 21+ years. They come from a smoke and pet free household. This is the first time they have seen daylight in a long, long time. They are now all looking for a new homeperhaps they can make a great addition to your collection! Please review my other listings. Ty Beanie Baby Battythe bat (Retired). Batty is believed to be one of a kind. Batty is extremely rare bat in mint original condition. This Batty has the following features and/or errors. Batty sits up well with prop to balance him. This is an indication the PVC pellets are in great shape and not deteriorated. He has a tan nose with black eyes. The Velcro is in great shape. Note this is the first Beanie Baby to use Velcro. He has great brown color and is not stained or discolored. Batty has a third foot! Instead of having two feet and two claws. I could not find another example with this defect. The swing tag appears to be a 4. Generation tag dated 10-29-96. It is in excellent condition. The gold surround is still bright and intact. Original is spelled correctly, i. Has the 04035 bar code on the back of the tag which matches the style. It uses a larger font. Surface is spelled correctly. The following is for the inside of the swing tag. There is not a comma after Oakbrook. The O in PO15 is upper case. Does not have U. Has the space before and after the colon :after BIRTH. The tush tag appears to be a 5. Generation tag dated 1996. It is in great shape. Note the tag is sewed into the bear so that it is hard to read The at the top of the tag. Has the TM after Collection. Has the red star to the upper left of the heart. Has the TM after the name Batty. There is not a comma , after Oakbrook. There looks to be a comma , instead of a period. Tag indicates the beanie has P. Tag has the patent information 1965(KR). There is no mark inside the tag. The above listed items are what I noticed while reviewing the beanie. Please review all of the pictures for more details and to judge for yourself. I will be donating 10% the proceeds to various charities for each of the different collectibles I list. Any damages incurred during transit will be settled with the carrier. The swing tag and tush tag both have little wear to them, but everything is perfectly legible. There are 4 features that make this beanie baby rare and desired. At the end of the poem on the swing tag, there is a space between the word lose and the exclamation point. The tush tag is holographic. It reads 1965(KR) on the tush tag, meaning that it was part of the Korean market. On the inside of the tush tag, it is stamped 47XBA7GT.
