The date of birth says 1997, but the box says 1999 and the tag says 1993. Also these are made in Oak Brook, but the tag error said OAKBROOK. Plastic on box is a little squished, and 1 of the flaps on the back was opened to confirm tag errors. Still brand new never been removed from the box. Cool Piece of history. Britannia was born December 15, 1997 and introduced on December 31,1997. The poem on the back of the package reads. Britannia the Bear will sail the sea. So she can be with you and me. Shes always sure to catch the tide. And wear the Union Flag with pride. Britannia The Bear is a rare retired Teenie Beanie Baby with 2 TAG ERRORS! She was exclusively a Ronald McDonald House Charity bear. She belongs to 1 of 4 of the International Bears collection from 1996/ 1997. She is 1 in 4,000 manufactured! Tush tag errors the box states that her birthday is December 15, 1997 but her tush tag says 1993 and registered in Oak Brook, Illinois (where Ty, Inc headquarters is located) but the tag reads Oakbrook (without the space). Never been played with or taken out of the box. There are 2 small flaps on the back of the box I opened strictly to take the photo of the tush tag. (Just enough to read it as shown) Blister is Very good condition being (20+ years old), has some minor wear as shown. Card shows a small crease on the back as shown but not visible on front, package is in otherwise excellent condition considering. Britannia The Bear herself is in absolute MINT.
