TY Original CURLY Bear Beanie Baby RARE COLLECTIBLE Unique Errors Beenie Babies

This Curly Beanie Baby has numerous errors and comes with all of his original tags including his tush tag and red heart swing tag attached with a red plastic hanger. Please note that his tags and condition are better than those I see that claim to have never been out of a box. He has led a normal life, and is just looking for a new home. Comes from a smoke-free home. No damage – like NEW! This particular Curly bear has one feature that I think sets him apart… He has an uncut string coming from his spine that the original person that sewed him – or quality control – let slip by! I personally have never seen an uncut string on any other Ty products, so in my opinion, that makes him very unusual and fun to show off. Here is a list of the other errors or rarities found on this particular Curly 1. 1996 DOB date on swing tag, but a 1993 date is printed on the tush tag 2. Two black eyes but a brown nose instead of a black nose 3. First line of poem has the word curly capitalized, which is an error since not used as a name 4. The second sentence of the poem starts with a lower case “y” instead of upper case Y 5. There is a double space between “to” and “this” in the third sentence of the poem instead of single space 6. The last line of the poem ends in you! It should read you! This has a space error as well 7. No comma (,) after Oakbrook on swing tag 8. Fareham, Hants is inside the swing tag, indicating limited edition that was handmade and not mass produced 9. Missing UK after PO15 5TX 10. Tush tag bottom line has 1965 (KR) which means this was part of the Korean market 11. There are both “R” and “TM” on tush tag 12. No comma (,) after Oakbrook on tush tag 13. He has a red star on the tush tag 14. No stamp on inside of tush tag In looking over other similar bears, some have noted a slight difference in size of the ears – this bear’s ears are NOT the same size. You can see that in the photos. The vast majority of the older prototypes from the ea rly 90’s di d not have Swing or Tush tags. They b ecame more common on the prototypes fro m the late 90’s o r early 2000’s. This beanie is M INT , it is compl etely flawless. It s fabric is that of the early Korean Fabric t hat was to produced the 1st generat ion original 9 beanie s. It is softer and has more sheen to it tha n the farbic that was used to produced beanies that were Made in China. Older P rototype Beanie Babies from the early 90’s are becoming harder and almost impossible to find. Most of them that are out there have been tucked away i n Private C ollections for years and may never see the light of day again. This is a on ce in a li fetime opportunit y to own such a rare and unique piece. The Old F ace col ored teddies that were produced are hard to f ind in mint condition. This Is A Very Rare (Multiple Error) Curly TY Beanie Baby. Birthdate: April 12, 1996 Introduced: June 15, 1996 Retired: December 31, 1998. Here is a list of the Errors and Rarities of this “Curly” Unique Bear. The price tag was removed 20+ years ago because it was a gift, that’s what caused the back of the hanging tag to look like that. It has been put way in a safety box since (it was not played with). “Curly” is in Mint Condition, and the hanging tag is in good condition but not mint. It was handmade in China with PE Pellets. Curly Has A BROWN NOSE & Black Eyes (Rare). Swing Tag has a ; instead of : after Date of Birth (Error). 2nd line of poem uses lowercase “y” instead of capital “Y” (Error). The word “original” on the Swing Tag has two i’s “ORIGIINAL” (Error). No UK after PO15 5TX (Error). 2 spaces between “to” and “this” in the poem. No Red stamp or # inside Tush Tag- indicating it is Limited Edition. Swing Tag reads 1996 and Tush Tag Reads 1993 (Error). Fareham, Hants is inside the Swing Tag – indicating Limited Edition. Tush Tag has both “circle R” and TM (Error). Tush Tag bottom line has 1965(KR) which means this was part of Korean market. Back of swing tag has the “r” missing in Surface wash. Says “Suface Wash” (Error). Hanging Tag has no style #4502. It has a Red Star on the Tush Tag (Rare). The last line of the poems ends You! – it should read You! – (no Space Error).
