TY PRINCESS DIANA – BABY BEANIE BEAR. TY PRINCESS BABY BEANIE BEAR (Princess Diana Memorial Bear) Rare first edition, PVC Pellets, 1997. Hand made in Indonesia. No Space Swing Tag. Ty address Fareham Hants on left swing tag R and TM with a star on tush tag. Tush tag says 1997 PVC Pellets. Note no stamp on the inner tush tag. The other rare piece on this bear is the swing tag. Other than the location they were made. Is on the last 4 lines of the inner right side of the swing tag, that it refers to the Memorial Fund there is no spaces. Later versions had a space between the 2nd & 3rd lines that reference to Dianas Memorial Fund. Princess Diana Beanie Bears with PVC Pellets Made in Indonesia. This version is the hardest to find, because Ty discontinued manufacturing in Indonesia due to quality issues & ceased using PVC pellets so there are far fewer of these than any other version. In early January 1998 Ty Inc. Began talks with Greenpeace to cease usage of PVC pellets & begin using PE pellets from then onward. Please check bear tag and see the red star. See the pale yellow stitching inside the rose. There is no stamp in the tush tag. Bear has the Memorial Fund written on her tag. Comes with the P. E pellets, from first edition. Tush tag has NO numbers or stamps inside. Tush Tag bottom line has [reg# 1965 (KR)] which was part of Korean market, 1 print run.
