Official TY Princess BearThis is a first edition bear hand made in Indonesia, with no spaces on the swing tag as shown in the images. It is made in Indonesia with P. The tush tag does not have a red number stamped inside (these came in much later Beanies) confirming it was before the 2 nd run of these unique bears. The TY swing tag has no spaces, confirming it is from the first run. Additional Information: This version is the hardest to find after the PVC version because ty discontinued manufacturing in Indonesia due to quality issues. On Feb 9, 1998 Greenpeace protested at the New York Toy Fair to halt the usage of PVC in childrens toys. In mid to late February of 1998 some people claimed to have already received Princess with PE pellets. This is a reluctant sale. Having to break a very large (1500 plus) collection of beanie babies. Rare(error), PVC pellets, No stamp on Tush, no comma between Oakbrook and Il. Most rare no star on tush.. Don’t be fooled by any other. I have the real deal. Make Twig, part of your family!! He’s waiting to be loved!!! Also forgot to mention, no star on tush tag, making it an extremely rare and valuable beanie. Also the word surface, is not spelled correctly, it says sufrace. This is a VERY RARE First edition Ty Beanie Baby CLAUDE the Crab, Style 4083, Date of Birth, 9-3-96 and has PVC Pellets. There is not a stamp on the inside of the tush tag which indicates a very limited production. CLAUDE has been stored in an air-tight container and is in mint condition and has not been played with. Both the hang tag and swing tags are in pristine condition. Next to the 1965 on the tush tag is written (KR) meaning it was for the Korean market (another rarity). This is a very colorful CLAUDE, in pristine condition and ready to be yours. I originated all the Beanie Baby Trade shows in the Portland, Oregon area and around the Northwest. My collection of Ty Beanie Babies grew very large and I’m ready to sell off my extras. 1 There is no coma between Oakbrook and IL It is shown as Oakbrook IL. 2 CLAUDE is in all Capital letters. 3 There is a “TM” written after CLAUDE’s name. 1 Circled (R) and TM’ above name on tush tag. 2 No star on tush tag (Normal for 1st edition CLAUDE). 3 No stamp inside tush tag (Normal for 1st edition CLAUDE). 4 Claude is written in small letters on tush tag but in all capitals on hang tag.
