Rare 1996 “PEACE BEAR” with Double Tag Errors! If you are a serious collector you already know this original Ty bear is a rare collectors item! This bear has not been played with and has been kept inside a zip lock bag- and is in mint condition! . Some assets that attribute to the rarity of this bear include. Front of hang tag has the 1st error- “Origiinal” is misspelled with double’I. Rear hang tag has second error with surface being misspelled as “SUFACE”. The Ty addresses listed on the left interior of the hang tag- the “Fareham, Hants” is collectible and a rarity. The tush tag has both the “circle R”& “TM”. Original PVC pellets which newer models do NOT have. No marking on the inside of tush tag which indicates early manufacturing. Up for sale is a very rare (probably one of a kind) error on the fortune panda beanie baby. Original fortune swing tag is coming lose but the other one (jake the duck swing tag) is perfectly intact. Spelling errors on fortune swing tag “Gasport” instead of “Gosport”. Punctuation error on fortune swing tag space between around and! Jake swing tag punctuation error space between the word play and! Fortune swing tag says born: December 6, 1997 and tush tag says 1998. I have never seen another one like this so this is a probably a one of a kind error. Smoke-free and pet-free home. Valentino has a 5th Generation Swing (Heart) Tag with a Date Of Birth: February 14, 1994. This bear was introduced on 01/07/95 and retired on 12/31/98. Here are the errors: SWING TAG WITH 2 ERRORS AND NO NUMBER. TUSH TAG – PVC PELLETS. IT IS A 5TH GENERATION SWING TAG (HEART). SWING TAG ERROR: ORIGINAL IS MISSPELLED ON FRONT OF HEART SWING TAG. SWING TAG ERROR: ON BACK OF SWING TAG SURFACE IS MISSPELLED. 1993 TUSH TAG, 6TH GENERATION. NO NUMBER ON HEART SWING TAG. NO NUMBER STAMPED INSIDE OF TUSH TAG. THE TUSH TAG HAS RED STAR ON FRONT. On the back of the Swing Tag, instead of reading “surface wash” surface is misspelled as “suface”. NOTE: These errors occurred limitedly and have increased the value. This Ty Beanie Baby named Curly is an original and rare bear with numerous tag errors, a very sought after element for collectors. No number on the heart swing tag. The front flap of Curly’s swing tag has the word “Original” misspelled as “ORIGIINAL”. Inside of the swing tag the birth year is “1996” but the tush tag reads 1993 Ty Inc. The word “you” in the second line of the poem has a lower case “y” instead of the upper case “Y”. Also in the poem, the third line reads To this bear… ” you can clearly see the extra space between the words “To” and “this. On the back of the swing tag, the word “surface” is misspelled as “Suface”. Inside of the tush tag there is no number stamped, which indicates this bear was NOT mass produced.
