Halo is part of my personal high end collection of specialty Beanie Babies. Halo has been stored in a sealed container since 1998 and. Has never been displayed and has never been played with. Halo is in brand new condition. It is time for Halo to find a new “Forever Home”.. Birthdate: August 31, 1998. Released Date: September 30, 1998. Retired Date: November 19, 1999. Halo’s Tush Tag Stamp (inside tag) is #459. Halo has been carefully stored and preserved. Her wings are iridescent and are in beautiful shimmery shape! Her fur is fluffy & bright white! Her eyes are black without scratches or scuffs. The swing tag does have a slight crease, please see photos. Halo’s original ribbon has not been pressed or ironed straight, it shouldn’t be. Halo has many interesting “errors” & unique “oddities”. I do not know if these errors are common or uncommon and/or if they have any bearing on the value, that is up to you. Please do your research and due diligence. I have have listed this high value Ty Beanie Baby bear to the best of my ability. UNIQUE / COLLECTABLE ODDITIES. Factory Stitching / Sewing / Placement Errors. Halo’s halo on top of the bear’s head is stitched slightly sideways so the halo faces more to the left side and not straight on it’s head facing front. Halo’s eyes are not symmetrical – (looking at the bear) the right eye is slightly lower than the right. Halo has a brown nose instead of black and black eyes. SWING TAG CONDITION: The gold foil around the heart shows no sign of wear, scratches or rub marks. The swing tag has a slight crease on the front of the tag but does not have any dents or tears. SWING TAG WITH MANY PRINTING ERRORS & COLLECTABLE / UNIQUE IDENTIFICATIONS. Oakbrook should be two words Oak Brook. Gasport should be Gosport. Extra space after “above” and before the! REG NO PA 1965 (KR) stands for Korea – may have been a limited run and not mass produced there. “Handmade in China” printed oddly on the fold/bend of the tag not on either side of the tag.
