Lot Of 32 Ty Champion 2002 World Cup Soccer Beanie Babies. This lot is for 32 Champion Bears from the 2002 FIFA World Cup collection. All Beanie Baby bears have two tags. One tag is a red Ty Beanie Baby tag and the other is a white and foil FIFA tag. Please note that there could be some minor fading and yellowing of the hang tags due to age (see pics). The bears themselves are in excellent mint condition. Information about the TY 2002 FIFA Beanie Baby Collection: Champion the Bear was introduced on April 4, 2002. There are 32 versions of the Champion bear, each representing the countries in the 2002 World Cup. Each version of Champion was retired separately on the day that country was eliminated from the 2002 World Cup. Brazil and Germany were the final 2, and Brazil won, becoming the World Champion with a score of 2 – 0. Each bear’s nose had their country’s flag, and inside the hang tags was information about that country. All had an extra foil FIFA hang tag.
