This is a complete set of 4 1999 McDonald’s Ty Teenie Beanie Babies International Bears, each featuring the rare and highly collectible 1993 Ty Inc. Tag error instead of the correct 1999 date. Glory the Bear (USA). Maple the Bear (Canada). Erin the Bear (Ireland). Britannia the Bear (United Kingdom). All four are in their original sealed packaging from 1999 McDonald’s Happy Meals. Packaging is in very good condition, with minor wear consistent with age. Only Maple was opened slightly to view tush tag and photo the error. Other errors are not confirmed, but bears were collected from same place at same time in San Diego when they were released. ? TAG ERROR DETAILS. At least one bear (Maple) has the original heart-shaped Ty tag that reads 1993 Ty Inc. A known and documented production error on some 1999 editions. This tag misprint is a collector’s favorite and can significantly increase the value of the set. Items are sealed and unplayed with. Maple’s seal was broken to verify tag. Stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home. Packaging may show light shelf wear; see photos for exact condition.
