TY Beanie Baby / Babies. Maple is 1 of only 4,000 in existence. Part of the Ronald McDonald House Charity Bears, this Rare TY Bear was 1 of 4 and had multiple misprint errors, which makes him a limited piece of collectible history! This is an original authentic Teenie Beanie Baby Bear. Error #1 : Oakbrook / Oak Brook spelling error. This space seems very miniscule, but in fact a huge factor when considering the limited amount of these bears in existence! Error #2 : Birth date misprint. On the back on casing, it clearly states that the bear’s birthdate is “July 1, 1996″ and was introduced “February 27, 1997″. However, looking closely at the tush tag, it says 1993 TY Inc. Maple remains unopened, sealed in original box.

This is a rare Ty Beanie Baby “Maple” bear, originally released as part of the McDonald’s line. It comes with its original box and is a highly sought-after collectible. The bear features errors with the white word spacing, making it even more unique. It is a part of the original Beanie Babies line and is now retired, making it a valuable addition to any collection. Brand new in the package, however, the little cardboard flaps are now open so that I see the tush tag. The first error is that the tush tag says 1993, but the box says 1999. And the second error is that the box says Oak Brook (two words) instead of Oakbrook. The bear has never been out of the box. Tush tag errors – the box states that his birthday is July 1st 1996 but his tag says “1993” and he was made in Oak Brook, Illinois, but his tag reads “OakBrook” (without the space). Maple was introduced January 1, 1997, but the box indicates that he was introduced February 27, 1997. This is the only Maple bear retailed in the United States. He was exclusively a Ronald McDonald House Charity bear. He belongs to 1 of 4 of the International Bears of 1996. He is 1 in 4,000 manufactured. The plastic on the packaging is slightly yellow, but he has not been damaged what-so-ever. The box and Maple are both in brand new condition. Maple has never been taken out of the box.
