This series was released in 1999 and is called the The End (Millenium). This is a listing for one The End the bear. This is one of the rare error pieces, The End is a black bear. His’tush tag’ has 1999 as the date and OAKBROOK (error) as one word. The End has a Date of Birth (DOB) of None and a date introduced of August 31, 1999. The End is wearing a gold ribbon and has The End with a firework on his chest. The End is new in original packaging, but the packaging has some wear and creasing. There are perforations on the back that have been opened to check the tush tag. There is a large dent in the plastic holding the bear, but it is not cracked (see photo). ERRORS / ODDITIES: ORIGINAL HAS 2 I’S ON THE HANG TAG… IT READS ORIGIINAL PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES!! SURFACE WASH ON THE BACK OF THE HANG TAG IS SPELT AS SUFACE (NO R). On the Tush Tag… No period after “NO” – reads REG. 1965 (KR), CE on tag, Polyester Fiber & P. Pellets, handmade in China on the fold of the tag, red star on the front of the tag, It reads 1965 (KR) which means that it was a part of Korean Market which was not mass produced. Oak Brook should be two words – hang tag and tush tag errors. No Stamp on inside of Tush tag which means that this Beanie was handmade and not mass produced. (very collectible), This Area is RARE and Extremely Collectible. SWING TAG IS MISSING THE UK AFTER PO15 5TX – IT SHOULD READ PO15 5TX, UK THERE IS A SPACE AND A ; AFTER THE BIRTH – IT SHOULD BE BIRTH. VERY RARE misspelling of “Gasport” which should be “Gosport”. A RARE Vintage Ty Britannia The Bear Beanie Baby New In Box Ronald McDonald House Charities bear. These were a limited release through McDonald’s. The bear is a small brown bear that has a union Jack Flag on its chest and a red ribbon around its neck. It has three distinct errors/misprints that forced its recall within a week of its release making it very rare and valuable. 3 There is an error in the city name with Oakbrook being printed correctly once but incorrectly as Oak Brook in another location on the back of the box. These three errors/misprints have made this unique and increased its value at the time and it has only increased in value over time. This bear has never been taken out of the package. The Package itself is not in mint condition but there are no tears on the cardboard it just appears to have been a bit smooshed in storage (see photos). It has been priced accordingly for the package not being in pristine condition but this bear is still extremely valuable to collectors. The perforated window at the back has only been opened enough to see the tag & date.
