1998 Rare Retired Ty Beanie Babies “Roam the Buffalo”. Both Roam Beanies have a bend in their tags as shown in the listing photos. Other than that they are both in great condition with 1 original owner. Roam is a dark brown buffalo with black button eyes and black stitching for his nostrils. He has “wooly” brown material around his head, neck and front legs and cream coloured horns. Once roaming wild on American land. Tall and strong, wooly and grand. So rare and special is this guy. Roam was released on 30th September 1998. His Birthday is on 27th September 1998. He was retired on 23rd December 1999. I will not waste your time. So please, don’t waste mine. Extremely rare, retired, Roam beanie baby. Has following errors/special markings that signify its collector’s status. Ruffled fur = only a limited number of beanie babies are produced with a ruffled plush. Swing tag = error, listed with Fareham, Hants location. All roams were produced not in Fareham but were produced – Ty Europe Gosport, Hampshire. Tush tag = star next to TY logo. Tush tag = 1965(KR) shows made for original Korean market. There’s potential I may have missed more errors, please take a look at the pics of the tags to see if I have missed any. Has plastic protector over swing tag. This item up for your consideration is a gorgeous rare plush that is unique. If you’re going to collect something, it’s great when you can collect something that potentially no one else will have. Values for these items should only increase in value. 5th generation swing tag; 6th generation tush tag. Depicts a mottled brown fur buffalo. Swing tag and tush tag are intact. Date of birth: September 27, 1998. The red star on the tush tag is rare. The tush tag has 1965 Kr which means it was part of the Korean market. There is a factory stamp on the underside of the tush tag. Errors found that make this particular TY unique. There is an extra space between the word’tan’ and the exclamation point on the inside of the Swing tag. Has a TM and a red star on the tush tag. Has both a TM and an’R’ on the tush tag. There is an extra space after Gosport. There is an extra space after the number 27. There is no style number on the tags. If I havent disclosed something, than I was unaware of it.
