The ” i ” on the front of the Swing tag BEANIE looks more like a lower case “L”. Swing tag Date of Birth has extra spaces between : 12 – 25 – 96. You will see the three!!! After “visit our page”. Tag Oakbrook is misspelled. Correct spelling is Oak Brook. No comma after Oakbrook. Fareham, Hants printed on Swing tag. There is no UK after PO15 5TX. The inside of the Tush tag does not have a stamp indicating it’s a 1st generation Beanie and not mass produced. Tush tag has the r. Ed star above the Ty logo to the left side on the tag. Ag has a TM and a red circle ® to bottom right of heart. Tush tag 1997 in front of TEDDY. Tush tag has 1996 below 1997 TEDDY. Tush tag has a comma (,). After the period on 1996 TY INC. The comma (,) is missing next to OAKBROOK on Tush tag. Has a comma (,) instead next to IL on the Tush tag. Ag bottom line has 1965 (KR) , which indicates it was part of the Korean Market. TY BEANIE BABIES HALO THE ANGEL BEAR (retired 1999) TAG ERRORS. BRAND NEW & MINT CONDITION! Halo is one of Ty’s first special edition Beanie Babies! This special edition white Beanie Baby was created to symbolize a child’s guardian angel complete with a halo and wings, it was retired a little over 1 year of its release date. TUSH TAG INSIDE STAMP #459! CLEAN & IN MINT CONDITION – HANDLED SPARINGLY ONLY BY ME, ORIGINAL OWNER. Retired in 1999 my Halo has a brown nose, tag errors and unique oddities. Halo is part of my personal high end collection of specialty Beanie Babies. Halo has been stored in a sealed container since 1998 and. Has never been displayed and has never been played with. Halo is in brand new condition. It is time for Halo to find a new “Forever Home”.. Birthdate: August 31, 1998. Released Date: September 30, 1998. Retired Date: November 19, 1999. Halo’s Tush Tag Stamp (inside tag) is #459. Halo has been carefully stored and preserved. Her wings are iridescent and are in beautiful shimmery shape! Her fur is fluffy & bright white! Her eyes are black without scratches or scuffs. The swing tag does have a slight crease, please see photos. Halo’s original ribbon has not been pressed or ironed straight, it shouldn’t be. Halo has many interesting “errors” & unique “oddities”. I do not know if these errors are common or uncommon and/or if they have any bearing on the value, that is up to you. Please do your research and due diligence. I have have listed this high value Ty Beanie Baby bear to the best of my ability. UNIQUE / COLLECTABLE ODDITIES. Factory Stitching / Sewing / Placement Errors. Halo’s halo on top of the bear’s head is stitched slightly sideways so the halo faces more to the left side and not straight on it’s head facing front. Halo’s eyes are not symmetrical – (looking at the bear) the right eye is slightly lower than the right. Halo has a brown nose instead of black and black eyes. SWING TAG CONDITION: The gold foil around the heart shows no sign of wear, scratches or rub marks. The swing tag has a slight crease on the front of the tag but does not have any dents or tears. SWING TAG WITH MANY PRINTING ERRORS & COLLECTABLE / UNIQUE IDENTIFICATIONS. Oakbrook should be two words Oak Brook. Gasport should be Gosport. Extra space after “above” and before the! At the end of the poem. No comma after IL. Extra space after the comma and before Ontario. Extra space between IL. Extra space after U. TUSH TAG CONDITION – clean & not flawed, not overly handled, looks brand new, contains many printing errors. INSIDE TUSH TAG STAMPED 459. TUSH TAG PRINTING ERRORS & COLLECTABLE / UNIQUE IDENTIFICATIONS. No period after the REG and the NO should be REG. Has 2 “R” symbols. Extra space after the “P” in P. Pellets should be P. REG NO PA 1965 (KR) stands for Korea – may have been a limited run and not mass produced there. “Handmade in China” printed oddly on the fold/bend of the tag not on either side of the tag.
