Look at all the photos listed for a truly accurate description of the bear. I will look at all offers. Curly Beanie Baby DOB – 4-12-1996. He is one the original Curly bears with all defects. Take a thorough look at all photos. On front of tag “ORIGINAL” is mispeled to “ORIGIINAL”. On back of tag “SURFACE” is mispelled to “SUFACE”. NO “UK” after PO15 5TX. Date of birth has “;” instead of “:”. Second line of poem starts with a lowercase “y” instead of a capital “Y”. In poem there are 2 spaces in between “to & this”. Swing tag is marked “1993” & tush tag is marked “1996”. 2 black eyes & 1 brown nose. NO stamp or # inside tush tag. NO space between YOU &! At end of poem. ” after OAKBROOK instead of “. “Curly” is capitalized on first sentence of poem. NO style # 4502. Ear is sewed on backwards. Made with polyester fiber & P. “Nappy” texture instead of “plush”. “Fareham, Hants” is limited edition. Tush tag has 1965 (KR) which means it’s a Korean market. Tush tag has red star, circle R &TM. For your consideration is this TY Beanie Baby – “Seaweed”. He is in Excellent condition. There is some wear on the crease of his swing tag, but no rips or tears! This beanie is new, has never been played with and has been kept in a container for safe keeping. This item also comes from a smoke free home! Seaweed has PVC pellets. There are also several tag errors/rarities to mention as well making this beanie more valuable. I would like to see this beanie go to a true collector who will care for it like I have. I have enjoyed him through the years, but I just have too many and need to find a new home. If there is something specific that you are looking for, please ask as I may have it in the rest of my collection. They are as follows. The “I” is not capitalized on the front of the swing tag on the word “BEANIE” like it should be. The comma is missing after Oakbrook on the swing tag. The UK is missing after the Waterlooville, Hants zip code on swing tag – RARE ADDRESS! Deutschland Nurnberg – RARE ADDRESS on swing tag! EVEN RARER to see both Waterlooville and Nurnberg on the same tag – AWESOME!! The date of birth is numeric instead of spelled out. There are 2 extra spaces between the word Birth, the “:” and the #3 on the swing tag that shouldn’t be there. The red star is missing on the tush tag. No tush stamp on tush tag. The “TM” is missing after Seaweed’s name on the tush tag – EXTREMELY RARE! The swing tag date states 1996, but the tush tag states 1995. The comma is missing after Oakbrook on the tush tag. 1997 Princess Beanie Baby. This Princess has Swing tag #4. Spaces in Swing Tag. This listing is for a Ultra Rare Ty 1st Edition Princess Diana Beanie Baby. Museum Quality Mint with Mint Tags (MWMT). Detailed information provided below for this Beanie Baby. No Number inside the Tush Tag This indicates that this is handmade not factory made! A Chinese manufacturing number in the later editions would indicate a facility ID. Tush Tag states PE Pellets but possibly PVC since this is the first version of the Princess Diana and Ty was switching over to making all beanies with P. There are many websites that say the first version had PVC although tag stated PE due to the changeover. Pellets were not used in any beanie baby until February 1998 when the Greenpeace protested at the New York Toy Fair to halt the usage of PVC in children’s toys. Ty then announced they would be using PE Pellets for all future products. When Princess was first released only twelve were distributed at one time to Ty Dealers/Store. Princess has been stored away in a in a smoke free home, enclosed protective case for 19 years. All offers will be considered.
