This is a Teenie Original Beanie. Rare Maple the Bear 1996 Ty with errors 1993. The bear comes in the original. “Note” package shows front plastic is slightly dented. He has never been played with or taken out of his box. There are two small flaps on the back of the box. This is the only Maple bear retailed in the United States. He was exclusively a Ronald McDonald House Charity bear. He belongs to 1 of 4 of the International Bears of 1996. He is 1 in 4,000 manufactured! Multiple Errors: Tush tag on bear is dated 1993 but date of birth is July 1, 1996 No space between Oak Brook on tush tag & back of box (spelled Oakbrook) (see pictures). The Ty addresses listed on the left interior of the hang tag- the “Fareham, Hants” is collectible and a rarity. The Tush Tag has both REG NO PA & 1965 (KR) [This means it encompassed the Korean Market]. There’s an extra space before the semicolon “:” (preceding the date of birth, inside right swing tag). Tush Tag says 1993, however, Inky wasnt even born until 1994. No comma between Oakbrook & IL (inside left Swing Tag). Inside the swing tag, “UK” does not appear after “5TX”.
