Sale is for a very rare, exclusive “Maple The Bear” Ty Beanie Baby distributed by McDonalds Ronald McDonald House Charities in the mid 90s. This Beanie is rare due to limited production number, errors, and regional distribution in Canada. The Beanie Baby is New-In-Box. Please read details below and view photos attached to this listing. The Beanie Baby you see in the photos is the Beanie Baby you will receive. Maple was born July 1, 1996 and introduced on February 27, 1997. The poem on the back of the package reads. Maple the bear likes to ski. With his friends, he plays hockey. He loves his pancakes and eats every crumb. Can you guess what country he’s from? Please note: I did not position the bears left arm in the waving position seen in the photos. He came that way and I have not touched the bear except to photograph the tag. This white bear has black button eyes and a brown nose, and proudly wears a Canadian flag sewn on his chest. Maple the Bear rare retired Teenie Beanie Baby with 2 TAG ERRORS! He was exclusively a Ronald McDonald House Charity bear. He belongs to 1 of 4 of the International Bears collection from 1996/ 1997. He is 1 in 4,000 manufactured! Tush tag errors – the box states that his birthday is July 1st 1996 but his tag says 1993 and he was made in Oak Brook, Illinois but his tag reads Oakbrook (without the space). Never been played with or taken out of the box. On the back of the package there are two small flaps in which I opened to take the photo of the tush tag. The edges of the box have some wear due to age (21 years old) but package is in otherwise pretty good condition considering. Maple The Bear himself is MINT condition. From smoke free home.
