This Princess Diana Beanie Baby is a 1st edition. There are no spaces on the swing tag in the 2nd and 3rd line of the last 4 lines. Red Star Ty Logo is on the Tush Tag. No number inside the Tush Tag (later editions had a facility ID printed inside Tush Tag). Tush Tag states PE Pellets. This beanie baby possibly contains PVC Pellets since this is the 1st version. Ty was in the process of switching over to using PE Pellets. Some websites state that the 1st version actually contained PVC Pellets even though the tag states PE Pellets. The change was made because of of the Greenpeace protest during the New York Toy Fair to stop the use of PVC pellets in toys for children. Only 12 Princess beanie babies were distributed to each Ty Dealer with the first release. This Beanie Baby belonged to my great grandmother who was a large collector of Princess Diana memorabilia.
